Description :

SunGard Financial Systems
Senior Oracle DBA working as part of a global team to:
Work closely with application developers and system administrators ensuring best practices for the physical database design, integrity, performance, and security management
– Administrate products’ installations in Oracle Environments: Oracle Database (10G, 11G, 12C), Oracle Application Server, Weblogic, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle BI, …
– Administer all database objects including tables, indexes, views, schemas, packages, and procedures.
– Troubleshoot and resolve database, application, and development related problems.
– Participate in providing DBA strategy plans
– Experiment and advise on new possibilities to administrate products with the latest provided Oracle software releases
– Generate documentation and training on new procedures and or experiment new features.
– Be able to react to changing requirements & recommend alternative solutions where necessary
– Improve existing databases and database management systems and analyses to make changes
– Manage and support various backup and recovery strategies for Oracle databases.
Profil recherché:
– IT Related degree or equivalent.
– 3 years Database Administration experience.
– A proved administration experience in the following environments: Linux, Redhat, Sun OS, Solaris
– Experience with Oracle Application Server /WebLogic required.
– Experience in supporting software application maintenance and support, providing DB setup, optimization and modification support.
– Demonstrated ability for perform database upgrades, deployment support.
– Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
– Ability to work independently and in a team
– Excellent problem solving skills
